He was such a fighter and survived so long and endured so much. He lived with the scars of Vietnam but lived a full life with such vigor. From fishing to golf to bowling his perfect 300 game. He wore proudly his Blue Ghost cap and although he missed the reunion, he so wanted to go but his breathing issues had impacted any travel abilities. He zoomed up and down the halls of the VA in his mobile chair like it was a corvette. He didn't wallow in his condition, he persevered. I wish he could have reconnected with all you Blue Ghosts and swapped stories and better times at your reunions.
