Arnie Holm’s helicopter, with two crewmen onboard, crashed in 1972.
    Holm is a Waterford native.

However, the samples returned to the JPAC laboratories in Hawaii are very small. DNA testing will take place in the next several days. Within 60 to 90 days, officials will determine whether  DNA can be obtained from the samples. If DNA is obtained, it could be another six months to a year before positive identifications are made

  2. Thanks for the update. I am anxiously awaiting the end of this chapter to say goodbye to these men.

  3. I am hoping these men are about to come home after 36 years. It is hard to imagine the anguish that their families have endured. Margarete Holm is one strong woman to have persevered all of these years. Would anyone doubt that she has not lived up to her obligations to her husband? She certainly will get her reward someday.
