As Memorial Day approaches, we take this opportunity to document a remembrance of our Blue Ghosts comrades who died in service to this country. A list of Blue Ghosts killed in action during the period 1967-73 is attached.

I was wondering about the date for George Canamare and thinking maybe he died a later than that, since I remember I had known him for awhile when he was killed. Maybe August, 1969 was when he joined F Troop.

Doug, You are correct. According to the virtual wall records, George was KIA on February 8, 1969 in hostile action from small arms fire. He began his tour on August 31, 1968. I will correct the list. Sorry for the mistake.
