What is the tail number of this Snake? If it is 69-16440 look at my photo and it is now near Tyler, Tx.
I haven't a clue what the tail number was on this bird. The two guys standing on next to it were on my night crew of the armament shop.
That is not 440. 440 was a 20 mm bird in 1972 and had 7-shot pods, blast panels and 20 mm boxes on both sides. 440 is, however, the aircraft on the stick in Texas. By the paint job, I think for some reason that the number of this bird was 648.Neal ThompsonBlueghost 26.
