  1. Doug,  Welcome aboard!! I flew guns from May'69-Dec'70, my name is Bob Drury I was a Warrant.  Do you remember who your AC's were most of the time?  The Ghosts were the best unit in the Div.  It is good to have another one join us

  3. Hi, just read your mesage.I have trouble remembering specific things about my tour. I do remember having Lt Lutz as a pilot, he was a great guy. Lt. Ltz was a good friend, while I was in Chu Lai. I remember the Major always liked to fly 590. He was usually the pilot, I have forgotten his name. I wish I could remember it. I did see him @ Fort Rucker once at a distance. I read about Night Hawk, in a message. I can remember flying several missons with them in 1970. We were flying recovery in case they went down. It has been so long- it is really good to hear from the guys from Blue ghost. I still have a jacket with the Blue Ghost patch on it.

  4. Thank you. We were sent to Viet Nam and did the best we could, for our country and mostly for each other. We were not really involved in the political aspect of the war. We did what we thought was best for our country.

  5. Doug,
The Major was Major Charles E Ivey. He was a
great guy. He came to one of our reunions in Rocky Mt. N.C. I have not heard
    about him since.

  6. Denton,     Thanks for the information. I remember you were a big help when I was first sent to F-Troop. You took the time to teach me how to be a door gunner. Thanks again!
