sgt james m troyer

I just posted the in memory book of my father sgt james m troyer if anyone remembers him i sure would like to hear from you. my dad died at 59 he had cancer all over his body . we know it was because of agent orange, though the milatary will never admitt it.

  2. Belinda, Your album is great, thank you for posting it. Your Dad, James Troyer, was an original Blue Ghost, serving in both C Troop 7/17 Cavalry and F Troop 8th Cavalry at Chu Lai. He worked in the maintenance hanger on OH6-A helicopters, one of which is pictured in the photograph with him kneeling in front. That helicopter, #12969, was the first OH6 that I flew in Vietnam. The photograph was taken in December 1967 at the Ky Ha Heliport. We had very good mechanics that worked day and night to keep us flying and your Dad was one of them.

  3. thank you for letting me and my family know a little bit more about my dad. He was still a good machanic when he was alive. I am glad you remembered him. he is now at peace and not in pain anymore.

  4. Funny I put my dad's name in and came up with your dad my dad was also sgt. James M. Troyer. But a different man he died at 81 yrs in 1989 in De. He also died of cancer. Of the esufauges( bsp)
